A Night Out

Cor Defense provides trauma-informed defense training to survivors of sexual and/or domestic violence, as a body-focused treatment for trauma. We are raising $15,000 this spring! Your donation will help us make classes more accessible, so that every survivor who wants to train with us is able to do so. We already provide our classes at a suggested price so anyone can attend regardless of their ability to pay. And we are striving to continue decreasing barriers to healing.

• Increasing the number of classes offered
• Training and hiring instructors and class assistants
• Providing childcare during classes
• Improving translation of materials
• Providing live translation during classes
• Ensuring survivors know about our classes
• Training parents and guardians in trauma-informed care
• Expanding our programs to other communities
• Training martial arts instructors in trauma-informed care so survivors everywhere can access body-focused treatment for trauma
• Adding a class specifically designed for first responders
